
EARLY LIFE
Jacqueline Perez was born on September 23, 1982. Her parents are Nelson Perez and Mary-Beth Nunez. When she was a kid she found out that she was exceptional at math and wanted to pursue a career in math. Jacqueline graduated from Conard Highschool and chose to go to Saint Joseph University majoring in Business management and minoring in Accounting.
COLLEGE LIFE
At age 19 Jacqueline Perez gave birth to Elijah Gregory Suarez. Jacqueline than proceeded to graduate from Saint Joseph University getting her Masters in Business management in 2011. Right before getting her master’s degree she discovered her love for teaching and Started teaching Business classes at a community college name Sawyer community college. She taught there for two years, than she worked as a Special Education one to one para at Capital Prep.
CAREER
A year after working at Capital Prep a program called a Teach For America discovered her and helped her get her teaching degree so she can teach more than just Business and being a one to one para. When she got her teaching degree she started to teach second grade at Achievement First in Hartford and worked there for 2 years. After those two years she got an better opportunity to work at Smalley elementary and she has been working for the last 4 years.
